Purpose Path Consulting
As the very first sunshine of October creeps through my window, I can’t help but be so excited to be launching Purpose Path Consulting. For years I have dreamed of a career that would allow me to use my passion for business and my various college degrees to help others in finding their true calling and building their dream life around that calling.
How obvious it was when I finally felt the inspiration to start this firm that this specific profession, the business of not just building up careers and business, but also building up people, was my true calling.
After all, my mother tells everyone, “That girl can think of 1,000 ways to make money!”. She isn’t wrong. Tell me what you love to do and I can think of 10 ways you can make money at it.
From childhood, I have always desired to excel in business. When I was just 8 years old I was deemed mature enough to start babysitting and I took my job very seriously. I wanted to be the best. I made up games, crafts, and generally tried my hardest to do well. But it didn’t stop there, as soon as my mom walked me into the bank for my first savings account, I was hooked on earning money. My grandmother and aunts were kind enough to give me odd jobs; house cleaning, washing their dogs, even helping to file paperwork.
As I grew up and moved away to Colorado, the desire and the ideas never stopped. I worked as a wedding dress model for a small shop which led me into wedding planning and keepsake wedding bouquet creations. Later, I started a furniture restoration business {yes, before it was popular} and then built a successful house cleaning business from scratch. Time and time again I was able to create businesses with just the money I had in the bank, later selling my client lists for a huge profit.
My desire for building unique business never stopped with my own. In the last 11 years I’ve assisted friends in planning out their own businesses, establishing the right career paths, encouraging others to chase their wildest dreams like becoming authors and speakers. Anytime my friend group has a business idea they call me.
It was one of the greatest honors of my life when a friend proudly exclaimed to a group of women, “Abby is THE BEST hype woman! She can help you do anything.”
I admittedly beamed with pride. I love encouraging people and Lord knows {with my Type A personality}, I love to plan.
So if you’re looking for a hype woman, someone to help you take actionable steps to live the life of your dreams, I’m here for you!
Always,
Abby
